Ariana Grande posted a message on Twitter asking fans to think twice about their conclusions regarding her split from rapper Mac Miller, according toPitchfork.

A fan on Twitter concluded that the breakup had something to do with Miller's recent car crash and DUI. AsPitchfork previously reported,Miller was allegedly arrested in California for drunk driving after he crashed his car into a pole and fled the scene. He was later located at his house and arrested after allegedly confessing to driving while intoxicated.
Grande took to Twitter to respond to the fan's comments, asking him to not blame women for a man's lack of self control and writing that the relationship was "toxic."

"I am not a babysitter or a mother and no woman should feel that they need to be," Grande wrote. "I have cared for him and tried to support his sobriety & prayed for his balance for years (and always will of course) but shaming/blaming women for a man's inability to keep his shit together is a very major problem."

She went on to say that while the process was hard and scary at times, she chose not to share that information before now.
