British police are investigating a total of six sexual assault or assault claims against actor Kevin Spacey, according to ABC News. Previously, there were only three such claims against him disclosed.

Five of the alleged assaults took place in London between 1996 and 2008, with the sixth taking place in the city of Gloucester, according to police.
Spacey has been accused of assault by numerous men, beginning with American actor Anthony Rapp, who said Spacey climbed on top of him on a bed when Rapp was 14 and Spacey was 26.

After Rapp's allegations were made public, London's Old Vic theater, where Spacey was artistic director for 11 years, began its own investigation. In November, the theater announced that it had received 20 allegations of inappropriate behavior by Spacey and had encouraged 14 people to go to the police with their claims.

Spacey apologized to Rapp in October, saying that the incident stemmed from "deeply inappropriate drunken behavior" and that he was seeking treatment. Spacey also came out as gay at the time.
