Cardi B announced that she will perform at San Antonio's Mala Luna Festival in October as a headliner,Varietyreported.

The announcement marks the first concert that Cardi will give after the birth of her first daughter, Kulture.
The rapper dropped out of a tour with Bruno Mars in July, saying that she needed more time to recover both mentally and physically from giving birth and that she wanted to spend more time with her newborn daughter, who would be less than two months old at the time the tour began.

"I underestimated the whole mommy thing," Cardi wrote in an Instagram post explaining her decision at the time. She thanked fans and Mars for their understanding.

Mars published a post of his own in support of Cardi, saying that they would play her breakout hit"Bodak Yellow" every day of the tour in her honor.

"Most important thing is you and your family's health," he wrote. "You are absolutely doing the right thing."

Other festival performers include headliners Nicky Jam and Tyler, the Creator, as well as Lil Pump, Becky G, and Dillon Francis, Rich the Kid, and Saweetie, among other rappers and performers.

At the time of the festival, Cardi's daughter will be three and a half months old.

Last year's two-day Mala Luna Festival sold out both days, hosting a total of 50,000 fans. The event benefits the NEtwork for Young Artists, which promotes art and culture through music, dance, and the performing arts in San Antonio
