The socialite is pleading guilty to three charges of battery, trespassing, and disorderly intoxication after being arrested in Palm Beach County, Fla. in December 2017. She was originally facing a felony charge of resisting an office with violence and two other misdemeanors, and the resisting charge was reduced to battery as part of her plea deal.
"This was my first time in Palm Beach since my wedding and being here brought up buried emotions," de Lesseps said in an apology following her arrest. She and her second husband, Tom D'Agostino, divorced earlier in 2017. "I am committed to a transformative and hopeful 2018."
As part of the deal, de Lesseps will be placed on probation for one year in addition to completing 50 hours of community service and attended two Alcoholics Anonymous meetings in New York. She may not consume any drugs or alcohol during probation and must submit to random testing. She was also required to write an apology letter to the police officer that she hit.
A judge must still sign off on the agreement to make it official
