Thomas Markle recently gave a second interview to-The Sun, saying that he remained quiet for a year before giving an interview that he believes "put the royal family in their silence mode."

Meghan Markle, the Duchess of Sussex, and her husband Prince Harry are frustrated by Markle's father's continued interviews, Entertainment Tonight reported.

Thomas Markle recently gave a second interview toThe Sun, saying that he remained quiet for a year before giving an interview that he believes "put the royal family in their silence mode," according to TMZ. "I gave another interview to break the silence. All they have to do is speak to me," he said.
Thomas also said that he believes the Duchess is "terrified" and having a difficult time adjusting to life in the royal family.

"I see it in her eyes, I see it in her face, and I see it in her smile," he said. "I've seen her smile for years. I know her smile. I don't like the one I'm seeing now. This one isn't even a stage smile, this is a pained smile ... I think she's under too much pressure. There's a high price to pay to be married to that family."

In the interview, Thomas said that because the phone number he used to use for the Duchess does not work anymore and he has no address to write to, he has no way of contacting his daughter.

According to an anonymous source, the family is annoyed by Thomas's decision to continue speaking to tabloids and accepting payment for those interviews.

Thomas also accepted payment for staged photos of himself reading travel guides for England ahead of his daughter's wedding to Prince Harry, which he did not attend due to health problems that prevented him from making the trip.
